I'm Assaulting You With Cake! (MLP:FIM Cake)

That rainbow factory's got nothin' on me.

This was made for my little sister's birthday party. She insisted on a MLP:FIM-themed cake, so I made one for her.
By the time I finished the base frosting, I went into hyper panic mode. I was frantically trying to frost the rest of this beast as the party guests were coming in the door.

The frosting is all white buttercream that has been (heavily) dyed, and the designs on the sides of the cake are made of this edible "Sparkle Gel" stuff that I bought at a craft store.



As for the cakes, from bottom to top:
Big adventure! - Rainbow Dash - Rainbow cake
Tons of fun! - Pinkie Pie - Strawberry cake with big strawberry chunks in it
A beautiful heart - Rarity - French vanilla
Faithful and strong! - Applejack - (Pine)apple cake
Sharing kindness - Fluttershy - Lemon cake
Magic makes it all complete! - Twilight Sparkle - Red velvet

I'm not any kind of professional. This is my second attempt (if you count last week's as an attempt) at a cake like this. Usually the length of my cake decorating skill goes about as far at smacking two 9 inch round cakes one on top of the other and haphazardly globbing frosting onto them. I really had to do a lot of research on the internet before feeling confident enough to tackle this mother.
